ABOUT

Todd

Todd LeBlanc is an award winning Sound Designer based in Sechelt BC on the Sunshine Coast and is the go-to collaborator for many independent filmmakers and artists. From feature length narratives and documentaries, to animated shorts, podcasts, live events, and much more, Todd elevates each project he works on through his many years of experience.

Since graduating from Vancouver Film School in 2009, Todd has amassed a long list of credits and much of his work has been screened in various film festivals all over the world, including VIFF and Cannes. In 2013, he began pairing audio with video editing and his contributions to the “Vancouver Cycle Chic Films” series helped them win the Best Documentary/Non-Fiction award at the Vancouver Web Fest. In 2016, he was personally awarded Best Editing at the International Online Web Festival for his work on “Arlington Passages”, a web series shot on location in and around Washington DC. In 2022, he was nominated for and won the LEO AWARD for Best Sound in a Motion Picture for the feature film “Roads of Ithriyah”. Since 2009, he has consistently served as a Sound Designer for the Animation Campus at VFS and his creative and thoughtful touch can be heard on hundreds of animated shorts.

In addition to his sound design work, Todd also provides audio and music coordination for many different types of events. You can often find him behind the mixing board at various launch parties, comedy shows, and musical performances, as well as packing dance floors as the DJ at weddings and corporate events.
